The 2018 Kia Sorento is pretty desirable as SUVs go. It has a low starting price, plenty of efficiency, a good deal of power, and more utility than many other vehicles in its category and price point. But is the Sorento the right SUV for you and your family? Take a look below to learn about how many seats are in the 2018 Kia Sorento.

Number of Seats in the 2018 Kia Sorento

The 2018 Kia Sorento comes standard with five seats spread across two rows at the base level. The 2018 Kia Sorento has 146.4 cu.ft. of total passenger volume, which means everyone will have lots of room to stretch out comfortably. Behind the second row is a spacious cargo area, which can hold 38.8 cu.ft. of luggage or you can fold down the second row to expand the room to 73.5 cu.ft.

However, the 2018 Kia Sorento can also rock an additional row (a 50/50 bench) to increase its seating capacity to seven. The 2018 Sorento with three rows of seats has a larger 154.2 cu.ft. of passenger room and a slightly altered cargo volume. The Sorento with three rows will have 11.3 cu.ft. behind the third row, 38 cu.ft. behind the second, and 73 cu.ft. if the second and third rows are folded down.
